A Mother’s Day Weekend In-Store at UbyKate

This Mothers Day, our store was filled with the most incredible energy as we welcomed so many of you through our doors. From groups of friends to solo visitors, daughters, sons, husbands and fathers - we loved meeting you all and sharing in such a special weekend together. 

We had special one-off sandcast creations made especially for the event, alongside a handful of sample pieces that have never been released before. It was beautiful watching people connect with these designs, often knowing immediately when a piece felt like theirs. It was a reminder that jewellery is rarely just about the piece itself. It is about the moment it marks and the feeling it carries. 

Champagne was opened throughout the day and conversations flowed easily between fittings and browsing. We received thoughtful feedback on our latest collections, which we always value deeply. Hearing how pieces are worn and experienced in real life continues to shape the way we design and evolve. 

We also spent time walking many of you through our bespoke process - from the early stages of the design through to the final creation of a piece. These conversations are often the most meaningful part of what we do, sitting quietly at the intersection of story and craft. 

To complete the experience guests enjoyed coffee from one of our favourite local cafes just down the road. 

This weekend, more than anything, reminded us of the value of being present in the same space as the people who wear our pieces. To listen and understand what brings you in, but most importantly to share the love for jewellery with each other. 

Mothers Day carries its own emotional weight, and being able to share in that felt incredibly special.
