A Very Personal Gift This Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day – a day we celebrate our own mothers, being mothers, those special non biological “mothers” to our children.., otherwise known as the tribe of “aunty’s” who guide them through life.

It’s my favourite day of the year… and yes, I know I bang on about that every year (sorry), but I just love the fact that I am blessed enough to get to celebrate that day with my own mum and my own two terrors… (I mean angels)

This mother’s day I indulged in a sneaky little undercover deal, with a certain little 9 year old!

You see we were recently shooting a short film in our warehouse that we will release soon, and on that same day Sonia from Life Love and Hiccups was hosting a Little Lane Workshop in our joint warehouse which meant that her gorgeous youngest boy was here and available to work on a secret treat for mother’s day with me.

My friend Sonia is one of the most sentimental, emotional, soppily gorgeous women on the planet, and nothing means more to her than her boys.

So I roped her youngest Flynn into making a special mothers day design for her… and then we surprised her!!
