Kate first designed The Cicada Wing earrings during the summer of 2012 and the design lay dormant in the archives until a chance discovery of a beautiful cicada wing by Kate and Lulu during their south coast summer holiday 2021 brought the design back into focus.
Wings are symbolic of growth and freedom and to us, they symbolise the transformative milestones we experience throughout our lifetime.
